Enterprise Solutions Architect - Large Deal Solution Architecture
Location: PAN India
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Associate Director - Solution Architect to join our growing Global Large Deals Architecture organization. In this role, you will be an integral part of the client service team, solutioning mid-size to large, multi-tower engagements across multiple business units within the Manufacturing, Logistics, Energy, and Utilities (MLEU) sector.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients, intermediaries, and internal Cognizant technical domain authorities to build high-impact solutions.
- Define solution vision and direction, leveraging commonalities and benefits across business lines and technologies.
- Maintain a strong track record of winning large deals.
- Anchor solution and strategy discussions with CxOs and business leaders.
- Lead a multi-functional team of solution architects across their respective domains.
- Envision a transformation roadmap that aligns with the strategic and tactical direction of the client.
- Translate complex business initiatives into innovative business-technology solutions, ensuring consistency across traditional solution boundaries.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and project managers to understand inefficiencies in clients’ existing business processes and applications, and recommend solutions.
- Coordinate with all stakeholders (sales, solutions, operations, change management, pricing, transition, facilities) to ensure timely and high-quality proposal and response submissions.
- Lead and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of winning technical estimation and solutions for customers.
- Create and maintain an effective knowledge management system to support all phases of the deal lifecycle.
- Design technology solutions that align with the larger engagement model across towers and build engagement-level transformation themes.
Required Capabilities/Skills:
- BTech/MTech in Computer Science or equivalent experience, or MBA in Technology.
- Experience in technical delivery, sales, and business development.
- Strong knowledge of technology areas like Cloud, IoT, Platforms, Analytics, AI/ML, and Gen AI.
- Tier-I professional services background.
- 12+ years of experience in IT Service Delivery/Consulting and Enterprise Solutions Architect roles, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in at least two of the following: Digital Transformation, M&A/Large outsourcing, Applications Development & Modernization, Cloud Transformation, Applications/Infrastructure Architecture, Data Architecture, Systems Integration.
- Proven experience in planning, designing, and implementing large-scale business-IT solutions.
- Ability to present complex delivery and technical concepts to clients during white-boarding and orals sessions.
- Technology domain expertise and understanding of various functions and regulations governing the industry in complex engagements.
- Hands-on experience with responding to complex RFPs, RFIs, Pricing, Estimation, and SOW proposals.
- Experience in managing DevSecOps/Agile delivery is a plus.
Certifications Required:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- TOGAF Certification
